Austin Nieto is the National Sales Director at EyeTech. He joined the company in March of 2020 and is responsible for leading our US-based direct sales team. Having been in the speech generating device (SGD) industry for over 10 years, his expertise has given his talented team the insight necessary to help all of those supporting the users of our devices.
While getting his bachelors in Neuroscience at Claremont McKenna College, his father was diagnosed with ALS. As this disease stripped his father of his access and communication needs, he immediately made a professional decision to help all those affected with complex communication disorders. With his Dad as a user of EyeTech technology, he knows first hand the power and independence that impacts our users lives.
Austin’s background of leading medical device teams and his personal experience with SGD’s is the perfect combination for fulfilling EyeTech Digital Systems’ mission of ensuring that every person, regardless of ability, has an equal ability to communicate. His devotion to creating the ultimate user experience is seen through the dedication of his team. Instilling the importance of the tailored experience, starting with the evaluation through to implementation.
