Inclusive education is not a checkbox. It is a daily practice that requires the right tools, the right training, and the right support. EyeOn Air for Schools was built in close collaboration with special education teachers, SLPs, and students โ and the feedback from classrooms has been encouraging. Here is what educators are telling us.

‘It Works With Our Day, Not Against It’
One of the most consistent pieces of feedback from teachers is that EyeOn Air for Schools fits into classroom routines without requiring a complete restructure. Circle time, read-alouds, independent work, transitions โ the device is designed to be accessible in each of these moments. Teachers appreciate that they do not need to create entirely separate activities for AAC users. The device participates in the lesson alongside everyone else.
IEP Goal Alignment
EyeTech’s school platform includes tools that help SLPs and special education teachers map device use to specific IEP communication goals. Data is logged automatically during sessions, reducing the documentation burden and giving clinicians cleaner evidence for progress notes. Several SLPs have told us this feature alone saves them hours per week.
Student Engagement
Perhaps the most meaningful feedback comes from the students themselves โ or rather, from the communication they are now initiating that they weren’t before. Teachers describe students who were previously passive participants in classroom activities now raising questions, making jokes, expressing preferences about assignments. One teacher described it simply: ‘He started having opinions. Loudly.’
Training and Onboarding
EyeOn Air for Schools comes with educator training as part of the package. We know that a device without a knowledgeable team around it has a high abandonment rate.. Our onboarding includes hands-on training for teachers and SLPs, a resource library of classroom activity templates, and ongoing support through our education team.
